Currently, light-emitting diodes are mainly used as visual light sources. Based on their various characteristics, they are widely applied in the industry at present:

1. Freedom in shape: One LED industrial light source is composed of many individual LEDs. Therefore, compared with other light sources, it can be made into more different shapes. For users who need customization, the shape and size of the light source can be designed according to their design concepts.

2. Sturdy and durable: In order to enable the image processing unit to obtain accurate and highly repeatable measurement values, the lighting control system needs to ensure that it can provide stable image input for a rather long period of time. Although the brightness will decay after continuous operation for 10,000 to 30,000 hours, it is much better than other types of light sources. In addition, by using the control system to make it work intermittently, the overheating of the light-emitting diodes can be suppressed, and the service life can also be extended.

3. Fast response speed: The response time of the LED light-emitting diodes is short. The significance of the response speed is that it can ensure the working switching between multiple light sources or between different positions of one light source as required. When a special controller is used to supply power to the industrial light source, the time to reach the maximum illuminance is less than 10 seconds.

4. Diverse color tones: In addition to the shape of the light source, another aspect of obtaining stable image input is to select the color tone of the light source. Even for light sources with the same shape, the images obtained will vary greatly due to different color tones. In fact, choosing the appropriate color tone of the light source to obtain the best contrast image effect has always been the main direction of light source research and development.

5. Low comprehensive operating cost: The power consumption of LED light sources is much lower than that of other industrial light sources, and they have a long service life. Therefore, it is very economical to use industrial light sources with a long service life.
